About Performance Education Group
As The Graduate Employability Experts, Performance Education Group changes lives by helping people achieve career success through learning and access to Australia’s best employment connections.
Established in 2006 to improve the careers of young professionals in Australia, we are now a leader in this space, working with individuals, universities and corporates across Australia to develop much needed employability skills including; professional business communication, workplace readiness, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs and career skills.
We ensure that each and every student is given the best possible training and support to achieve their career goals.
From Then to Now
Performance Education Group was founded by Owen Firth and Matthew Reede combining their expertise in education, recruitment, professional services and business. They both shared a belief that students need more than a good technical education to allow them to achieve career success in Australia. They had identified that professional career success also needed key employability skills such as strong communication and job search skills, an understanding of expected workplace behaviours and meaningful work experience.
In 2006 we opened our Sydney campus. It was followed by our Melbourne training facility in 2010 which has grown to look after the same student population as Sydney. In August 2015, Performance Education Group opened its third campus in Adelaide.
In our quest to help people achieve career success and our commitment to quality, we have grown strongly and in 2015 we celebrated 10 years of changing lives! In Performance Education Group’s first ten years we were featured in the BRW Fast Starters list in 2011 and 2012, grew to become recognised as an industry leader, and have impacted over 15,000 lives through our programs. Contributing to this are our strong partnerships with top universities and higher education institutes, as well as 3,000 quality companies in Australia who host Work Integrated Learning placement for our students.
Together with our team of about 130 across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, we continue to change lives through Professional Year, Work Integrated Learning (Internship) and Career Skills programs – and we’re looking forward to the next 10 years!
