Are you an international graduate with an Australian degree? Are you struggling to secure your first professional opportunity in Australia?
Then the Professional Year could be right for you! Everyday, Performance Education helps many young professionals just like you through our Professional Year and Work Integrated Learning Programs.
Professional Year (PY) Programs are gazetted by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) and are designed to address Australia’s skills shortage through enhancing the employability of recent international graduates in specific professions.
The Professional Year course is a 44 week program which integrates specialised training in business communication, business culture, workplace expectations and careers skills. It includes an invaluable 12 week Work Integrated Learning placement in Accounting or IT that gives you direct exposure to a professional Australian workplace.
Upon completion of the Professional Year Program, qualifying candidates may also be eligible to receive points towards their permanent residency under the Skilled Migration pathway.
Performance Education was one of the first accredited Professional Year providers and is recognised as a leading quality Professional Year provider nationally with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. As the graduate employability experts, Performance Education has helped 8,500 students through its Professional Year programs in Accounting and IT.
Performance Education is approved by the ACS, CPA, CA ANZ and IPA to deliver the following Professional Year programs:
