Hosting an Intern is EASY!

Many businesses may believe that hosting and mentoring an intern is a challenging task, especially if they’re time-poor, BUT it’s easier than you think.

Apart from the myriad of benefits interns add to the business, there are only a small number of key points a host company needs to meet before they can unlock this uncapped potential.

Host companies only need to provide;

  • Enough work for a minimum of 36 days
  • A mentor with at least 5+ years of experience or relevant qualifications in the areas of Accounting or I.T.
  • Provision of relevant tasks appropriate to the Graduates skill and experience
  • Provision of a desk and computer
  • Ability to provide opportunities for interns to observe or take place in meetings
  • Ability to provide Graduates with two points of feedback throughout the internship, i.e. at the midpoint and endpoint of the internship placement

All very EASY! Not to mention the fact that Performance Education will appoint an Account Manager to your business, who will undertake the necessary discovery to understand the opportunity you’re prepared to offer an intern. We do this so that Graduates capabilities align to your specific requirements.

Performance Education goes one step further, our Placement Consultants, who have interviewed each of our Graduates and know their educational attributes intimately, align their C.V.s to your opportunity based on your needs. As a host company, businesses pick who they want to interview based on our recommendations, and we establish a time for you to interview desired candidates at a time of your convenience.

Our Graduate intern appointment process is streamlined, which helps you or your H.R. department in making the easy decision. Our approach is hassle-free and provides our Host Companies with long-term benefits from the value interns bring to their organisation.
