Top Podcasts For Accounting And IT

There are many ways to enhance your knowledge on a specific topic that you are interested in. You could read a book, an article in the newspaper or talk to an expert to gain further knowledge. Another way is to listen to podcasts.

Recently I discovered that there are hundreds of thousands of free podcasts on Apple and Android devices. Apple defines podcasts as “Episodes of a program available on the Internet. Podcasts are usually original audio or video recordings, but can also be recorded broadcasts of a television or radio program, a lecture, a performance or another event”.

Podcasts make it easy for you to learn about something new while you are on the train or before you go to bed at night as they are all audio and video recordings. There are many categories to satisfy everyone’s interests including Arts, Business, Education, Comedy, Health, News and Politics, Sports and Recreation, Technology and TV and Movies.

Your Apple devices have an app downloaded automatically that looks like this:

For Android devices you can download an app from the Google Play Store called “Podcast Republic” that allows you to search podcasts in the iTunes collection. It looks like this:
