In addition to the specified learning outcomes of this program you will learn accounts payable functions including invoice processing, payment proposals and reconciliations. You will also learn about banking and investments plus accounts receivables tasks such as invoice raising. Later in the 12 week internship you will be exposed to an overview of the purchasing and assets process plus be exposed to finance tasks such as general ledger, taxation and financial statements. As you will be liaising with multiple teams you will see a sharp improvement in your communication skills whilst also improving your time management skills as you aim for deadlines, all under mentorship of the accounting/finance team.

In addition to the specified learning outcomes of this program you will be involved with the planning stages of scoping an audit and verifying that key areas have been captured and considered, as well as end-to-end internal audit functions of planning, fieldwork and reporting processes. You will gain exposure to data analytics within a large company and develop your relationships building skills as you interact with different teams and stakeholders. During the Work Integrated Learning internship placement you will be under the mentorship of the Head of Internal Audit.
